Masindi Woman MP Donates PPEs to COVID-19 Task Force Committee

The Woman Member of Parliament for Masindi District, Dr. Florence Asiimwe on Monday this week donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) worth Shs 5.1 Millions to support the Frontline Workers at Masindi General Hospital.
Her Donation, was handed over to the District COVID-19 Task Force Committee by her Political Assistant Julius Wabyona during the Committee Meeting that was held at the Resident District Commissioner's (RDC) Office.
Speaking shortly after the donation, Wabyona revealed that, the Legislator has not been able to attend the Task Force Committee meeting because she had a tight schedule, however she "is willing to continue giving support to the Task Force Committee to run COVID-19 activities effectively"
The RDC, Rose Kirabira who is also the Chairperson of the District COVID-19 Committee applauded the Legislator for her donation and she encouraged other well wishers to also support Financially the DTF in order to contain the second wave of the Deadly COVID-19 Pandemic.
