Masindi District staff bid farewell to CAO Tappy

The staff of Masindi District Local Government on Tuesday this week, expressed joy amidst emotions as many of them gifted the Out-going Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Tappy Namulondo as a gesture of appreciating her for restoring teamwork and cooperation among staff.
Addressing staff including politicians during the handover ceremony held at the district headquarters, Tappy lauded staff for according her agood working environment since she has had no stress during her one financial year tenure as the Accounting Officer of the district.
Tappy Namulondo however,said she has learnt not to take people for granted saying that some individuals put on skin of sheep to pretend and yet they are real wolves.
Tappy has been transferred to Butebo District Local Government and she is expected to take over office by Monday next week.
In his remarks,the new Chief Administrative Officer Samuel Ruhweza Kaija,called upon staff to accord him the teamwork and cooperation that they gave to his predecessor.
Kaija brings to Masindi an experience of over ten entities that he has served as an Accounting Officer.
He was transferred from Kibuku District Local Government.
On his part,the District Vice Chairperson, Kassim Kabagonza who represented the District Chairperson,thanked the Out-going Chief Administrative Officer Tappy Namulondo for good working relationship she exhibited with the District Executive Committee and that she was afield person as she intensified monitoring of projects.
He however,tasked the new Chief Administrative Officer,to among other things fast truck the completion of Kijunjubwa Community Seed Secondary School as this project has had allot of issues.
