Residents of Karujubu Division have unanimously endorsed the District Chairperson, Cosmas Byaruhanga to contest in the 2026 elections as a Member of Parliament for Masindi Municipality on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket.
The endorsement came during an end of year party celebrations which were organized by Team Cosmas in Karujubu Division and held on Friday 30th December,2022 at Kinogozi Trading Center.
Earlier on the event began with a friendly encounter between Kinogozi FC and Karujubu FC where Kinogozi FC overpowered Karujubu FC by a goal to nil and were awarded atrophy and gold medals while Karujubu FC walked away with bronze medals.
The football game,was sponsored by the District Chairperson in appreciation for the support he garnered from Karujubu Division for the two terms he is serving as the District Chairperson.
The locals, asked him to stand as aMember of Parliament since he is a good lobbyist .
