Masindi Boda Boda Emyooga SACCO gets three motorcycles

Masindi Deputy Resident District Comissioner (DRDC), Dhaala Sanon,has today handed over three brand new Bajaj motorcycles worth shs 18m to Buruli Constituency Boda Boda Emyooga SACCO.
Addressing the Boda Boda Associations who had gathered at Masindi Municipal stadium, Dhaala appreciated this SACCO for exhibiting a good saving culture which has enabled them get additional shs 20m from the Micro Finance Support Centre (MSC),which funds have been used by the SACCO to invest in the joint Boda Boda project.
According to the Principal Commercial Officer for Masindi district,the three new motorcycles have been allocated to Isimba Boda Boda Emyooga Association,while the second one has been allocated to Kibangya Boda Boda Emyooga Association and the third motorcycle has remained at the SACCO to help run SACCO operations.
On his part,the Member of Parliament for Buruli Constituency,Hon.Aled Ronald Akugizibwe,urged the Associations which have benefited from the support,to repay timely such that other Associations under the Boda Boda sector also receive the motorcycles.
