The Regional Center Manager Baylor Uganda Dr. Betty Nsangi has challenged the stake holders to use the Echo Zoom Telecommunication Equipment for communication purposes only to enable its sustainability.
Dr. Nsangi disclosed that Baylor Uganda through Funding from Center for Disease Control (CDC) under ACE-Bunyoro Project procured two Echo Zoom Telecommunication Equipment worth Shs. 32.2 Millions.
She added that, the equipment will support Teleconferences, Virtual Meetings and Communication in the District.
The equipment will be installed at the DHO's Board Room and TASO Masindi Clinic.
She said this, while handing over the Telecommunication Gadgets to the District Leadership yesterday while at the District Headquarters.
Meanwhile, The Secretary for Social Services Sylivia Karungi who represented the District Chairperson pledged to protect the Telecommunication Gadgets.
The Principal Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (PACAO) Richard Kiiza requested Baylor Uganda to provide a Technical Team that will train the IT Officer, Communications Officer and the Senior Records Officer on how to use the telecommunication gadgets to bridge the capacity gap.
