District Health Office

• Completion of construction of  staff  quarters at HC II at Kirasa and Kauma
• Ongoing construction of staff houses, at Ntooma, Nyabyeya, Kitanyata, Budongo, Bwijanga HC IV, Kilanyi and Katasenywa
• Connection of solar system at Kisalizi and KimengoHealth Centers
• Ongoing Construction of OPD and 5 stance pit latrines at Kitanyata HC II \\\iis
• On going construction of OPD at Pakanyi HC III
• Conducted 2 rounds of Child Health Days and Mass Immunisation
• DHT attended referral HIV/TB regional collaboration workshop.
• Training of 273 Health Workers in Malaria Management in Pregnancy.
• VHTs training and election of Committees
• Mosquito nets were retreated under the support of AFFORD.
• District Water and Sanitation Committee has been formed and funded by Water Aid.
• District Hygiene and sanitation strategy developed – funded by Water Aid
• Received Essential tools for latrine excavation from Water Aid and distributed to 3 sub counties i.e. Karujubu, Budongo and Bwijanga.

Masindi Hospital/Buruli Health Sub District

• Rehabilitation of the Xray Unit with support  from the Ministry of  Health
• The Hospital acquired a new generator , Xray Machine and Ultra sound Machine  from the MoH
• Serena Hospital was fully functionalized
• Partial renovation  and equipping of  the Hospital laboratory
• Some theatre and ward equipments were procured
• The Hospital staffing position improved
• Hospital received a Computer from the Malaria Consortium
• Procured a brand new Ambulance
• Procured brand new bedsand mattresses for the hospital
•  Procured a new operating theater
• Maintained constant supply of drugs and sundries.
• Maintained vehicle repairs
• Support supervision conducted mo-nthly.
• Improved on deliveries in hospital.
• Received computers for telemedicine
• Renovation and equiping of Masindi Hospital  labaroaatory department

• Completed OPD Block in use at Bwijanga HC IV
• Completed Mihembero HC II staff quarters and toilet construction and now in use
• Completed Renovations of Kikingura, Ntooma HC IIs  OPD Blocks
